Shakes & Fidget
A comic-strip role-playing game that is shaped, almost exactly, like a tea break.

What you do
You run a cartoon hero through quests that take a few minutes each, spend the gold on gear, fight other players in an instant arena and clear dungeons with your guild. Every quest is a pick of three, weighed on reward against how much of your daily thirst it spends, and that small decision is most of the game.
What a week costs you
Ten to fifteen minutes, two to four times a day. Quests run while you are away, the arena is instant, and a missed day costs you nothing but a missed day. It is the easiest game on this site to keep up with.
What the shop sells
Mushrooms buy extra quest time and better rolls in the weapon shop. We climbed a long way without spending; the top of a busy server has clearly paid. For the middle of the table, where most people live, the shop is a nudge rather than a wall.
Who it suits
Anyone who wants a game that fits between two other things. Skip it if the broad humour grates or if you want a world rather than a loop.
- Fits a tea break exactly
