Sunrise Village

A run-down homestead, a map under fog, and nobody asking you to hurry.

What you do

Clear fog from a hand-drawn map, restore the farm you inherited and solve the small puzzles each new region brings. There is no combat and nothing you build can be lost. The only clock is an energy bar that refills whether or not you are watching it.

What a week costs you

Two or three ten-minute visits and you are never behind. Watching the map go from grey to green is a better sense of progress than any number on a dashboard. By the third week the loop is familiar, which is both the comfort and the ceiling.

What the shop sells

Rubies buy energy and decorations. We never felt pushed, and the energy you can wait for is the same energy you can buy.

Who it suits

A first game for someone who has been told browser games are stressful. Not for anyone who needs other players around.

  • Gentlest pacing on the shelf
  • Exploration writing has charm
  • Browser and app share an account
  • Familiar by week three
  • Thin social layer
